Disclaimer: I'm admittedly a bit biased towards this book since it functioned as a workbook/guide while I devoted time to hardcore working on setting and maintaining boundaries for a period of few months. This was also while I was discussing boundaries with my therapist, so the two resources complimented each other nicely.
This book has a lot for a reader to reflect on, including built-in exercises and questions that the reader can practice. I felt the issues of communication and boundaries were approached in a very nuanced and compassionate way by the author, while still being expressed simply enough that it's a pretty easy read! I also enjoyed the illustrations :-)
My only notable critiques of this book are occasional grammatical errors and more swearing than I felt was necessary (which, at times, made the sentences more clunky/unclear, and cemented the fact that I couldn't offer this to my parents despite how helpful I found the book to be for me).
