A very powerful and hard hitting book. Reading as someone who also experiences distressing flashbacks and mental health issues as well as having a history of self destructive coping strategies, this book was both challenging to get through (I had to take a break at certain points in the book to compose myself) but also a brilliant and brutally truthful book. I read this book in 5-6 hours all at once which has never been done by me as a weak reader, but I couldn't stop reading, I felt truly connected to the author. Would recommend greatly though a trigger warning for content themes may be needed.
