Oh wow. I wasn't expecting to cry so hard. The art was beautiful, the characters were so cute and I was so happy to see the resolution of their love story and the way their family supported the. After the initial shock. I don't always love the device of having the whole story being told as a memory, but I think this felt like a re-imagining of the Notebook, so it worked.

This was sweet! I admit I probably let myself down a bit with this one as I was pretty excited for it and had rather high expectations. I ended up being a little bit disappointed and had trouble suspending my belief with some things, but overall it was enjoyable and inclusive.

This quick read is a sweet, intersectional love story with lovely illustrations. The dialogue is a little clunky and awkward, but it is not so distracting that you can’t still enjoy the characters and the story. 3.5 stars

Such a cute story, love the concept. I found the ending a little lackluster though, I wish they dedicated at least 2 or 3 pages to the actual last page. Other then that, a cute story with lovely art to match. Very heartwarming.

This art is SO Goood!
The art of the cover made me not want to pick this up because it looked kind of short and bubbly, and made the characters look like children. But that's not how the art in the main story was at all! It was one of my favorite types of art style, strong line art (but with some sections in different colors such as around skin) and bold colors with detail but still clearly illustrated. It's hard to explain if you aren't in the digital art world but it was so good.
As for the story, I loved these two women together. Is it unrealistic? Hell yeah, why do I care! It's true love baby!
There is one of the stories in the back that I absolutely abhorred, I don't remember what it was but the art was awlful and the humor was so incredibly cringe worthy that I couldn't even focus on the story. Which was focused on STI's (a very important consideration in any sexual relationship). So be warned about that. But the rest was so good.
