El doctor Moreau resulta ser un vivisector y crea seres completamente extraños y al final muere por la misma causa, el quería sacar el instinto animal y meter características humanas en ellos pero una vez que probaron la sangre su instinto animal pudo más que cualquier creación del ser humano y sus bestias lo terminan matando a él y a su ayudante y solo queda el viajero que al final se salva.

An exciting short story which ponders morality, humanity and ethics. Wells was so ahead of his time in writing this, though some outdated vocabulary cannot be overlooked. A classic sci-fi pondering, which set the stage for existential musing in dystopian setting we have come to love. The depiction of ‘Beast People’ and how our protagonist comes to adapt with them is truly fascinating, considering the flexibility of human nature. Theological questions posed through Moreau have also given me much to think on.  The diary style recount was an excellent choice for the intimate re-telling of experiences. Harrowing.
