This play is utterly fantastic. It's hilarious, chaotic and the characters are fabulous, both by themselves and in an ensemble. Benedick and Beatrice are especially brilliant with their bickering and the way that they navigate their feelings towards one another throughout the play.

Like almost every Shakespeare story there are many characters! I have a love for classics and am very interested in classics which makes it easier for me to keep track of them! It may be hard for non classic readers but to get into Shakespeare you should probably read that first!

beatrice is a great character considering she hates men and this was written in the 1500s. it’s kinda undermined with the treatment of hero but i can understand that, given it was written so long ago. i can’t tell if i like the writing or not since i don’t usually read plays outside of assigned reading in high school but i found it really witty and fun overall! i hate claudio tho and beatrice + benedick stole the show for me

It was pretty good for a Shakespeare play, even though the plot was very limited. Loved Beatice!
