I won a Kindle edition of this book through Goodreads Giveaways - and - it's a very quick read! This book won't help you identify a specific career or role -- but it will help you narrow down some qualities that help you feel more personally fulfilled.

The book is basically a guided exercise to walk through present/past/worst job/relationship/personal life so that you can identify what you most liked and disliked, then associate values such as "autonomy" and "creativity" and "safety."

After you go through the pro/con lists (4 items each) for each of the present/past/worst situations -- you tally up the strongest values on the list of 30 or so. Then, when an opportunity presents itself - you can ask "Does it help meet one of my top 4 fulfillment needs?"

It's really quite simple - and it's a great exercise for those who are stuck in a rut and not really in touch with what makes them tick. If you know yourself well - you may even find some surprises in going through this exercise.

It's a positive, affirming exercise -- can't hurt to try!!

Not ground breaking but it’s a good reminder to reflect on what’s important in your life.

I like that he incorporates the law of attraction but it’s not the main part of the book.

I received this book through a goodreads' giveaway. It was just what I needed. Retired for 5 years from a job I did successfully but hated, I still don't know what "I want to be when I grow up". This book is easy to follow and useful. Doing the exercises provides insight into what will make you more fulfilled and happier. Too bad I didn't have a chance to read it years ago, but I can apply it to my life now.

Received this from a friend. I don't usually go for self-help books, but I did the exercises and it was fun to reflect on my fulfillment needs. It'll help me to be more mindful as I decide what to do next with my life.

I found the list and identifying the Four Fulfillment Needs of interest and useful--however I found the book to lack depth beyond that. It is good for someone who is new into the Self-Help genre, but I think those familiar with the genre would be left disappointed beyond identifying their fulfillment needs.
