Ms. Goree-Bell has captured my heart and all my attention with the Blood Legacy series. I read Kandie Shoppe first, and over the course of 12 hours. Bad Guy took me about 28 hours until I completed it. These characters and the Love girls especially capture my heart. None of them have had it easy, and their men haven’t either. And these men will do ANYTHING to protect their women. And I love it.

So, I love me a broody alphahole just like the next person, and Kiyoshi was just that. I totally get why Krie would be drawn to his power and dominance because some women may find that attractive.

At times, I felt that Krie was just a pushover, and Kiyoshi took advantage of that. Her little brother certainly did. He used the fact that his sister was working hard and distracted and then never respected her throughout the story.

I knew they would get together at the end, because that's supposed to happen, right. It was odd him going through a small town getting rid of people that wronged her like ok...just odd. But it was ok and I will probably read another one.

I actually liked the main characters, for the most part. I’m not into bdsm, and I think this is the first time I read it in a book. It was ok for me. It’s a very spicy book. I had issues with the grammar and writing style. There were a lot of mistakes. Some things seemed off with the way the characters spoke in the book. Some parts repetitive. Overall, I did enjoy the storyline.
