I enjoyed the book. It had some very good points on what the Bible teaches us men to be. Mr. Harrison intertwined real-life scenarios from his life as an LAPD officer which definitely made the book more relatable for me. It kept me engaged.

I admit I was skeptical about this book at first, having been exposed to a chapter of it at a local Bible study. By and large, however, Ken Harrison surprised me. The author does an excellent job rooting his analysis and conclusions in Biblical principles, drawing on authentic and heartfelt experiences from his time as both an LAPD officer and later a businessman. There are one or two times some of Harrison's views pulled me out of the story but overall those times are few and far between. Overall, I found Harrison's thoughts on masculinity engaging and encouraging.
