Very enjoyable historical mystery set in 17th century London. This book was so atmospheric I could almost taste the stench of the filthy, plague-riden city.
I listen ends to the audible version which was excellently narrated by the author. I'm not usually a fan of self-narrator but in this case C.C. Humphreys did an outstanding job.

murder mystery based at the time of the great plague of London 1665 felt like you could touch and smell the grime the way the author sets the scene and really enjoyed it with the characters and a page turner too
