To be honest I thought this book would be a 3-stars-read, as the two first books was, but apparently not. I loved everything about Infinite. Everything. This is pretty much perfect, in my opinion.
Oh my god the feels at the ending. Just, Oh my God.
I am however a bit confused right now, because I'm not entirely sure exactly what happened at the end. I still have mad feels though.
Infinite, truly amazing.

Fantastic finale to a great series. The last chapter had my jaw on the floor!

A beautiful, unique series with many good themes and parables. Also, a satisfying finale that answered *almost* all my questions.

Initially I was shocked by "Infinite"s rating, but then it dawned on my that only a handful of fans have continued reading the series after the first book. Statistics do come in handy:
"Incarnate" 3.77 · 12,892 ratings
"Asunder" 4.01 · 3,323 ratings
"Infinite" 4.12 · 1,288 ratings

Moral of the story: DO NOT only check the rating, but how many people rated said book or you may be fooled by a few die-hards.

Initial Thoughts

I had fairly high expectations for this book even though I was a little confused throughout the series. All that religious sort of stuff that was going on was a little confusing for me to really grasp. I hoped that this book would be a little easier to follow!

My New BFF

Ana gets a lot better in this book. I even start to look up to her. She’s still pretty stupid at times but she ends up being very smart and brave. All she wants is to stop Janan and save her friends. She could care less about anything else. I was a little disappointed with her and Sam though. I thought they were better than what went on with them. It made some seems a little awkward.

My Crush

Can I pick the sylph? No? Then I pick Cris. I wish he had more of a purpose in the book because his character was so great. I’m very disappointed with that. But I like how we got to learn more about the sylph because of him. That was really cool.

Writing Style

There was a lot of repetitiveness in this book. I think I might have just made that word up but you get my point. I found a lot of parts were boring because there was A LOT of explaining and just straight up dialogue. There just wasn’t enough action for a final book.

Closing Thoughts

The ending was a little too perfect to me. It was an easy flaw to ignore though since you always hope that everyone will live happily ever after. I just expected a little more. It took me around 100 pages to really get into the book. I was a little bored because nobody had any idea what they were doing. Even the author seemed lost. Once the characters kind of figured out a plan it got better.

I had a hard time deciding between 3 and 4 stars, but I went with 4 because it was a good book overall. While it had some issues, the story was very good, and the writing was good. I finally felt like the story had a purpose unlike the others, however, that almost made it worse. I do not like when I have ten pages left in the book, and I still don't know how it is going to end when it is the last in the series. If you enjoyed the others in the book, definitely read this one.

I can't get over how stunning this cover is! This trilogy has some of the most mesmerizing covers ever! Cannot wait to have this beauty on my hands.

Has this ever happened to you? You read the first two books in a trilogy back to back, then have to wait about a year for the last book to be published. Then when you finally get to pick it up, you realize you've forgotten a ton of the story?

Yeah. That was me. And it made me really sad. I didn't have time to go back and skim the second book over, as I am working to read 500 books before I turn 30. Gotta keep on plowing ahead reading.

I do want to go back and reread this series eventually, because I think Jodi has a long, promising career ahead of her.

alright finally finished the latest ya book! definitely still an interesting concept, but the last book was a bit of a letdown. didn’t really like the ending and a lot of the plot was way out of context with the rest of the series
