I enjoyed the read and found it very gripping, but found one of the twists and turns a little TOO unbelievable.

So I really did like this book. It was super twisty and I didn’t really predict many of the twists
(especially Billy being Ruth’s attacker)
but there were some parts of the plot that didn’t really make sense to me and seemed a little unrealistic and at times it did get a little confusing.
Probably the most unrealistic thing was Billy getting his contacts in and out so easily 🙈
Overall though it was a really good thriller!

The ending was very shocking, but I was not very captivated until about halfway through the book

I haven't read Strangers on a Train (but I will) or seen the movie, but knowing the concept is enough to enjoy this author's homage. It was fun to watch the different storylines come together. I love it when I don't guess the twist.

This book kept me guessing until the very end. I very rarely feel surprised at the end of a mystery, but this was one that kept me thinking. I really enjoyed the character development and multiple points of view. I wanted the ending to be drawn out and the different plot lines to continue a little longer.

The book had me very invested from beginning to end. I didn't expect the ending at all! My only pet peeve is the ending. Which is why I gave it 4.25 stars. I don't see how the killer would help Amanda get justice and not hurt her but was targeting women in home invasions years before with no explanation as to how he went from the same evil serial killer Amanda and Ruth were condemning to someone who would help Amanda after he got what he wanted (Ruth). It left a huge plot point for me that I wish was explained/wrapped up
