I love this series so much! It’s so full of magic and intrigue. I can’t wait to read the next one. I was nervous I wouldn’t enjoy reading from Tella’s POV but I found her to be a powerful and lovable character, way more so than in the first novel.

If you're like me, and you loved Scarlett in the first book, this book might disappoint you. Sadly, we only get small glimpses of Scarlett throughout the book, as the book is now centered on Donatella. Personally, I feel like she isn't a very likable character and constantly puts her own needs first. All the men in the book are practically falling over in their effort to talk to her, but she really doesn't seem worth the effort.
I dragged myself through the book for Scarlett, but I was definitely glad when it was over.
