A solid 4 stars! Loved this story!

Set up: The story starts out with Georgie at 16, when she finds out her brother has died while on a mission. Deck, his best friend and team leader as well as the guy she’s in love with, is the one who shatters her heart. Fast forward 10 years and Georgie is still in love with Deck, but Deck won’t look at her that way even though he’s completely in love with her. Throw in some awesome banter, witty dialogue, tons of lies and half-truths, very dangerous people that are out for Georgie, an overprotective alpha male, and a lot of sexual tension and you get this great page turning story!

Hero: 4/5 stars! I want a Deck. So broody. Why is broody hot?! Although I’m not sure broody would be hot in real life. He has loved Georgie for 10 years; always tried to protect her from evil of others, herself, and definitely from himself. While he has stuck by his promise to her brother, he finally realizes he can’t be without her anymore. I loved it when he finally gave in. Alpha male + scary as hell + ex-military = yum.

Heroine: 4/5 stars! I love her name: Georgie. Well also known as Chaos – didn’t like that name so much. She was a great character. The pervious book I read had a heroine that used her sex appeal to manipulate and deceive, and I absolutely hated that about her; basically Georgie does the exact same thing, but the author made her incredibly likeable! Her sassiness could have come off as annoying, but she was so witty it ended up being endearing.

Plot: 4/5 stars! Such a great and unique story. While I wouldn’t say this is a “dark” read, it definitely has dark elements and edge. The backstory is dark and disturbing, but this book was lightened up a lot by the heroine and the banter and back and forth by the MCs. Perfect Chaos has a great mysterious and suspenseful element without losing any of the romance and sexual tension between Deck and Georgie.

Sex scenes: 4/5 stars! Well written and intense. It helps that the H is intense so it wasn’t a surprise that the sex was as well.

What I loved: While the H is a manwhore, none of his past sexual experiences were brought up; no OW issues and it is only talked in passing. I really loved all the characters involved. Great story and development.

What I disliked: The ten year time span is pretty unrealistic and just too long. It would have been better if it was about half that time, like five years. Also, the manwhore/virgin h. It’s been done too much, and I hate that you know he was a manwhore for 10 years even though he loved her.

Spoiler shit:
Condom use:
SpoilerSometimes yes and sometimes no.

OW/OM:
SpoilerEh. Not really. No OW. Kind of OM but she is just using them and not interested in them at all.

Detailed scenes with OW/OM:
SpoilerYes, detailed scenes with OM. Georgie is a virgin though and stays that way until she is with Deck. The detailed scenes do not involve anything past 2nd base.

Abuse:
SpoilerA lot of talk of physical abuse throughout the book as well as kidnapping of young children and adults.

First off I have to say this is a dark erotica novel so it is for 18+.

I admit I have never read a book by Nashoda Rose but after reading this book I do want to read more of her books and I do want to read the next book in this series because this book was so good. I read it last night before my shows started (just to kill time) and I ended up missing my shows because I completely lost track of time and I couldn't put it down . Only reason why I put it down before I was done reading it was because my dog was demanding to go outside.

This is very well written. It has romance, steam, suspense and action and yes I do recommend this book.

I give it 5 out of 5

Just NO. Why is this book getting such great reviews? WHY? The female lead talks like she's 14 trying to impress an older boy. It's annoying and desperate and I want to punch her in the face. I hate that I actually spent money on this.. granted it was 99 cents but still! Thats a large soda from McDonalds! I only got to about 15% into the book but I refuse to waste anymore time on this.

Thanks netgalley for a free book to read and review. I love dark romances, they are a new favorite kind for me. This book was dark but I didn't like how the book flowed. For instance, reading thirty percent of a book, and experiencing a character change. Deck was portrayed upon having a close eye on Georgie but apparently it wasn't good enough. That kind of throws me for a loop, and in my eyes it's a major character flaw. He's a trained op but she outsmarts him? These are the kind of disappoints when I'm reading that really shake the foundation of my book. If she can outsmart him, really how good is he? Or his team. I know we all project an image we think gets seen but I was disappointed. He saw what he wanted to see but the book really changed half way through. I was real interested when she was just a coffee shop owner, a regular person....I say have a plot then stick to it. Overall entertainment for me was three stars.

4.5 stars for this sexy, suspenseful story. Georgie's brother died when she was 16. He was in the military with his best friend, Deck. Deck has promised to protect Georgie but he's never allowed to have a relationship with her. Deck is ex-military and now he runs a security type company (I'm not exactly sure what they do but they deal with some dirt bags.) Deck is a seriously sexy alpha male who likes to be in control at all times. He's bossy and demanding but he's also loyal. Georgie is pretty stubborn and a little crazy but she has a good heart. As much as I loved this book, I did find it confusing at times, the storyline was really complex. I'm really looking forward to reading more in this series and finding out where this story goes. This is the first book I have read by this author and I can't wait to read more!

Deck promised his now-dead friend that he would take care of his younger sister, Georgie. Which also means that she is off-limits to him. Georgie, however, has her own dangerous secrets that get her into quite a bit of trouble, which she is reluctant to share with anyone, making his task very difficult. Deck's patience has its limits and he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe.
I read this book several years ago and yet it still evokes exciting emotions in me. Deck is a grumpy and bossy alpha male who is impossible not to love. And Georgie is a deceptively vivacious and sassy woman who hides terrible demons. Their story was full of action and secrets the uncovering of which was an intensive, suspenseful and sometimes shocking experience. I couldn't tear myself away from it. This is going to be a very short review because I don't want to give away any details, it's best if you read their story blind. Although I recommend starting with the first two books in the Tear Asunder series to avoid confusion because some of the events mentioned in Perfect Chaos took place in those books. They are not crucial to the plot of Perfect Chaos, but it is there that we first meet Georgie and Deck and their friends which give a slightly broader picture of their relationship.
And now I'm diving into the next book in this series, where the divine, cold and dangerous Kai, who is my favourite, gets his woman :) Ah, can't wait.
