The Numbers Game: Why Everything You Know About Football is Wrong by David Sally, Chris Anderson
annaswan's review against another edition
August 2020 resolution read: non-fiction. Less compelling than Moneyball, but still sort of interesting to someone like me, who enjoys both soccer and math.
Interesting fact I learned: set pieces like corners generally have no correlation to winning games.

Some interesting parts, but overall I found this book quite boring. And generally too UK-focused.
