Had some mixed feelings while reading this. The setup of this book involves our main character cheating on her spouse so I had a hard time rooting for her at the start. As you read on you see everything she has been through and begin to understand the situation more and more. I did love the slow unfolding of the story and I read through this pretty quickly. There are a lot of terrible men in this book, some of the scenes made me feel almost sick. So the writing was very effective but I would recommend looking up content warnings before picking this up.

Bit of a slow start but by about a third in I was totally hooked. A beautifully written book.
