It took a long time to build into the story and for being a novella I feel like it should have gone a little faster. Also with Dex I feel like if there was no growth.

Really love the cute concept, but the writing felt forced to me, artificial, definitely in the first half of the book. Still enjoyed it though!

Dex is a tea monk with a question they can’t quite put their finger on. While work is good and their belly is full, there is something essential missing in their life. Dex sets off on a quest for something they can’t quite put their finger on, chasing questions of consciousness and purpose - with a robot named Mosscap along for the ride.

This book is tender, a kind touch to soothe the discontent that burns through so many of us daily.
May we all seek life as the wild-built do.
