I didn't realize how big of a sucker I am for a whodunit. This is the first Agatha Christie novel I have read, and I enjoyed it tremendously. She does a great job of gradually building to the satisfying conclusion while keeping many suspects in the running for a long while. I'm confused as to how Gwenda and Giles are seemingly able to set aside their entire schedules to solve a murder mystery (What kind of life do you have to be leading to do that?), but this was easy to overlook to enjoy the story. I was also not entirely satisfied with the motivation and development of the killer in this story, although I suppose it is believable.

A good one to end on! Still a lot of "don't trust the foreigner!"
although this time at least that proves to be a mistake!
but much more generosity to female characters throughout. Can always do with more Marple in these ones with other characters in the lead, but the young couple was fun enough. Good listen.
