This somehow was better than the already perfect first volume. I am so in love with this series and can't imagine it not existing in my life. I've seen critiscm that this volume had too much dialogue and not as much sex, but I think it works for the series' future. Although you come for the porn hopefully you would stay for the plot, story and relationships between characters. I for one really appreciated more plot, even a few side stories that help to paint a background picture of the planet the crew was visiting.

I’m glad I stumbled across these graphic novels. I started reading them because the concept was funny to me and I’ve continued because they are actually really good. There’s a storyline that you can follow and characters that you will enjoy. I love that there’s just enough action and adventure to keep me interested without it being the sole focus.

I surprisingly enjoyed Vol. 2 more than the first. I felt less confused, the story was more straight-forward and we got to see deeper into our main characters' heads and learn more about supporting characters. There was also a particular character hilariously reminiscent of a certain ex-president who's storyline resolved in a very satisfying way.
There are a lot of body/sex stereotypes this comic falls into which sometimes made this comic feel lacking, but overall it was a fun read. Fantastic artwork and colouring as always, and again perfect for readers who enjoyed the likes of Sex Criminals, the graphic novel.

I received an e-copy of this graphic novel from Diamond Book Distributors in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A good continuation from the first volume ... and ah, here's where the Trump-y president comes in ... and gets rightfully lambasted. (e-galley from Edelweiss)
