I would’ve enjoyed this book more if it had been shorter. The multiple POVs were also confusing at times.

I loved the style of this book. The different points of view really made it for me. I love knowing everyone’s thoughts, that’s probably the nosey part of me. There was something so sad about this book though. The writing was so nostalgic feeling. I actually really enjoyed the ending too. It felt right.

The start of the book lends itself to a rom-com movie which initially dissuaded me from reading further. But as I plundered through I realised there was more to the surface as the novel recognises mental health struggles and the complexity of modern day relationships. In regards to the former, I found this quite relatable. However, I Hated (capital H!!) the characters of both Cleo and Frank, especially together, they lack self-awareness and I found them generally difficult to relate to. Though, this was somewhat redeemed by the character of Eleanor. Overall, it was okay to good, a digestible read, but I am doubtful whether it will leave a mark on me.

This book was ridiculous lol. So surface level, so cliché
