Another controversial story from Jodi Picoult. There was a bit too much nature for me but it definitely teaches you a lot and makes you look at situations from every different person's prospective. I didn't know wolves were such intelligent creatures and had such a strong bond as a pack, it was interesting to learn about that but a bit too much of the book was about that for my taste.

I enjoyed the drama of the main storyline about two warring siblings who can’t agree whether or not to turn off their fathers life support, but I got a bit bored of the chapters told from Luke’s POV as it centred around his obsession with studying wolves - he was a really unlikeable character even though he is in a coma for the entirety of the book.

After reading every one of Picoult's works, I have found them to be slightly redundant. They feel like the same story told over and over.
