I absolutely loved this book. The characters are rich and deep, even if you only get to know some of them for a few chapters. Lots of quotable lines and wisdom sunk into these pages. This will be added to my shelf of books that I read and re-read.

An enjoyable read and some important/profound comments hidden in there but ultimately it felt like a not-quite-as-good version of First Fifteen Lives of Harry August. Prompted family discussion about what we would do and how we would feel if we lived for 1000 years.
