My face when I finished this book and realized the fourth doesn't come out for 8 more months:

If The Masked City was a bit of a let down (a let down that still warrented 4.5 stars, so not a let down in a very critical sense), The Burning Page won me completly over again. It was as fun and interesting as the first, and I did discover more things about both The Library and The Language and how the whole worlds work.
I love Irene, the world she's chosen as Librarian in Residence and her interactions with the people she considers friends, even those that are frenemies. I won't spoil it for you, you just have to go and grab the whole series, it's worht every second in it.
Magic, libraries, love of books, steampunk, fae and dragons, chaos and order and a library to balance everything, a library containing books from all the possible alternate worlds. What's not to love?

The writing and world building in this one finally clicked for me. Much more pleasing to read and finally getting into the big overarching plot of the greater series
