I know I said I should never read another Lucy Foley novel, but I forgot that I had requested this one from the library. It turns out that this is her first novel (2015) and is so much better than her current works. It actually has a story, and quite an interesting one at that.

I’ve read a couple of Lucy’s other books (The Hunting Party and The Guest List), and loved them. This book was published a few years before and is completely different. I loved it. Such a touching story.
