Not sure if this should be 3 stars or 4. Also not sure if this should be in the YR category either.

Thank you NetGalley for the e-arc to review.

Such a fascinating twist on classic tales. We get to see a whole new version of Wendy’s side to what happened in Neverland, why Ursula is the way she is, why Hansel and his sister were even in the woods and more stories that just left me wanting to keep reading how their lives were going to turn out.

I will be purchasing this for my personal collection for my kiddos to read and possible some of the kiddos at school.

I love any excuse for fairytale retellings but this was something else! The execution of taking these classic tales and twisting them in a way like never before is something I know only Chainani would be capable of

I loved this short story collection! So many empowering lessons and great messages from these refreshing retellings that all had their own unique spin. Soman's writing is descriptive and poetic, and so many lines both hit my heart with hard truths as well as made me laugh out loud! An excellent addition to anyone's reading list. I look forward to rereading this book again someday. :)

I enjoyed this book. I absolutely love retellings of fairy tales, so of course I had to get my hands on this book. I recommend these retold stories, as they are very enjoyable and still hold the main morals and messages of the original stories. My favorite was the retold Peter Pan, it was incredible and worth reading through the whole book for.

This was a fun ride. A comp. of short stories with some darker themes, all very well written. Young teens can definitely read this if they're of the darker sort!!

Podobało mi się przedstawienie popularnych baśni w takim charakterze, jednak gdzieś pomiędzy historiami zabrakło mi emocji i dosadności.
