What a book. It surveys the entire history of how we have the Bible in our hands today. From the copying of the languages, canonizing of the text, and translations. It is clearly a very scholarly work but is very understandable for anyone. The history of the Bible is very encouraging and shows just how God has been sovereign over preserving His word and how Christians have even put their life on the line for the Bible to be read by the common reader.
