I was kindly gifted an ARC copy of this book and am reviewing it voluntarily.

I would give the book 3 stars, mainly because it was a little too 'insta-love' for me. The story was well thought through and I like that the hero and heroine were in their 40's. There were plenty of good supporting characters, along with the two main ones, and they are all well written. The book has been well edited and maintained a good pace through out. It is an easy read, no real heartache but some pretty raunchy love scenes and mild angst.

Generally the dialogue was natural and convincing, occasionally it felt a little stilted - but then it could be that it is American English and I am English English! I also found the writing style a little difficult to read at times, but that is a personal preference.
