OMGoodness!!! I love this series so much! Everything I enjoyed about the throuple/poly relationship of Wicked Beauty was heightened by adding a fourth.

Hephaestus/Theseus and Aphrodite/Eris have just been married, but not for love. The positions they hold within the 13 demand their marriage. It’s a marriage, not of convenience, but of requirement. So you can imagine that they are less than thrilled by this outcome. Each of them had a relationship before and even though they’re married, their hearts are still with the other person.

Theseus was conveniently placed in a position in Radiant Sin to murder the last Hephaestus and take over his position. He’s worked for Minos since he was a teenager, living in an orphanage with the girl he loves, Pandora.

In Cruel Seduction, the assault continues as Minos attempts to put even more of his people into positions of power. There is a war brewing and all of Olympus is being hunted. Members of the 13 are being attacked on the streets and their lives are in jeopardy. All while Theseus & Eris (the newest members of the 13) have a love/hate relationship going on. Really it’s just hate/hate, but the eventual hate sex is

I don’t understand it, because normally too much mess makes me want to not read a book, but it works so well here. Eris, Adonis, Theseus, and Pandora are a chaotic mess of intertwined relationships all having to decide where their loyalties lie, and if it is even possible to change them. We are in the thick of the threats to Olympus (definitely can’t read this as a stand-alone, it wouldn’t make a ton of sense with all of the backstory), and seeing these four find their footing was worth the journey to get there. If anything, this series gets darker and more dangerous as we progress, and I am here for it.

As part of her role as Aphrodite: Eris marries Hephaestus.
A complex erotic romance with violence similar to Mob trope romance

I swear every books gets better, the sex and romance was steamy and seeing Theseus soften up was so cute. I really hope they can get Olympus under wraps i don’t like all this assassination bs

I have loved this series since book 1 and I love how the main plot has progressed through each book. You get more details but also have more questions of what is to come next for Olympus. This was very different from the others as this dived into polyamory. I didn’t fall in love with these characters the same way I normally do in these books, but I do appreciate a true enemies to lovers.
