Honestly this was just a fun collection of romance stories. I loved the gimmick of all of them taking place on separate holidays (gimme those Holidate vibes bay-beeee) and the trope-pa-looza for each story. I think the Valentine's story was my favorite just because I loved the pure escapism of it, but all of them had their own charm and spice that were enjoyable in their own ways. Very solid and very fun collection of stories!

A steamy anthology where each short story takes place during a holiday: New Year, Valentine's Day, St Patrick's, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We've got different tropes, like enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, brother's best friend, age-gap and fake relationship.

As it often is in a collection I like some stories more than others. Here we also have different authors, even though the stories have much in common. I find that most of the sex scenes are similar to one another. The reason I even thought about it is because I read the whole book in just a few days. The best thing is to read each story at the holiday it represents, like a goodiebag that will last all year!

I would have liked to have more of some stories, they're too short! When the main characters have known each other for several years I find it credible when they "suddenly" fall in love, but when they haven't it feels like it's moving too fast. This is of course all due to the format, and I can't blame the author's. Or maybe it's my cynical side shining through...

A minor issue: In many of these novellas the guy calls the girl "baby" or "babe". I know it's supposed to be a sort of endearment, but to me it has the opposite effect, kind of deprecatory. This could be because English isn't my first language, or just my personal opinion. I haven't let it affect my overall grading anyway.

I recommend this anthology to everyone who wants short love stories with a guaranteed happy ending and some steamy bedroom scenes! Or if you want to expand your list of cute book boyfriends! 😉
