I can’t believe this is my first Dennis Lehane, considering I love many of the movies based on his other books.

This book was exactly what I expected based on movies like Mystic River and Gone Baby Gone. A solid plot that kept you engaged, tough characters, and a lot of awful shit. I enjoyed reading it, and will read more from him!
