As this sensational love story between celebrity heart throb Billy Buskin and timid tea shop owner Sophie May continues, through Sophie's eyes we meet Billy's family, who are a world apart from all that Sophie knows from her comfortable corner in Kent. Having avoided the spotlight all her life, she's naturally apprehensive about what lies in wait for her in LA. There's no doubt that the love that Billy and Sophie have is strong but is it strong enough to conquer each new battle that this new venture brings?

This is a read that tugs at the heart strings; full of beautiful moments between the characters we love most from Billy and Me with new ones introduced to make us ooh and aah, laugh out loud and cry just a little tear or two. Once again Giovanna Fletcher makes you believe in real love through her powerful words.

There are no gimmicks; this is just pure talent in worded format.

Have a packet of tissues handy for this journey!

I really enjoyed the first book in this series but found this a little slow and dull. This carries on from where the first book left off and tell the story of a long distance relationship but it’s just a lot of the same with them going backwards and forwards on planes!

Many thanks to Netgallery and the publishers in allowing me to read this title.

Really enjoyed Always with Love, love Giovanna Fletchers a style of writing, having loved Billy and Me, I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed with Always with love.

First off... whenever I need a Pick-me-up I pick up a Giovanna Fletcher novel because they are just gorgeous! I have loved all her books including Billy and Me. So I was excited when a sequel came out. I really did enjoy this book, seeing a happier home situation for Sophie (which she 100% deserved btw!) and getting to know Sophie and her mum a bit better. Giovanna's writing is so easy and lovely to read. I also love how she doesn't just write about "perfect" love stories, she discusses real life issues (which I especially adored in Billy and Me and Dream a Little Dream). However, I feel as though the conclusion of the story, although sweet, was a bit premature. The story follows the ups and downs of their relationship and with almost no recovery time allowed from the downs a massive change happens and I was left a bit disappointed and put out by the end. But other than that it was still a gorgeous read and the easy summer read I was after!

Ugh just the worst.

No real plot featuring a whole host of boring and predictable two-dimensional characters. A few offhand jokes about mental illness - which, no, is not okay. A needy and desperate female male character. Sprinkles of slut shaming and skinny shaming. Mix in the cliche that men and women can't be friends and ugh. This book was dreadful.

Delightful little story, a bit like the rom-com movies I take such a guilty pleasure in. Only after reading half of the book did I realise it was a sequel but it stood on its on pretty well. A small town bakery owner is in a long term relationship with one of LA's up and coming actors. Insert being separated by a long distance and a handsome stranger coming to town and you've got some chicklit :)

I'm not usually one for reading romance books, but I'm a huge fan of Giovanna Fletcher. I'm a sucker for happy endings and feeling all gooey in a relationship and this hit the nail on the head. I didn't enjoy it as much as Billy and Me, but I'm a bigger fan of relationship origin stories. Nice one G!
