I’m not into this flavor of book right now. I think it was off-putting to have the female main character described so poorly (scrawny, bony, and almost sickly) during a sex scene.

This is one of those stories that feels like a tv series so you never want it to end because then you feel lost without the thing that took up an hour of your life once a week. But it’s only a book and no matter how much I stretched it out it was to good to put down and it eventually ends and I already miss my psycho friends. This was so disturbing and dark and gruesome in good and bad ways. Bad in all the horrific things our MCs had to endure. Good is that it feeds our dark twisted romance loving hearts. I don’t feel like this story was missing anything I just feel like I would be totally fine if it had been stretched into a 3 or four book series starting with them in high school. This was just so good but like I just can’t get over the devastation of it being over 😩😖. The pacing was really good. The harem was well built but Owen definitely could have used a little more time and connection, even with him being timid and squeamish, I wanted more between them. King and Drake OH MY GOD I loved them so much. Wyatt is just all the crazy golden retriever feels. I think the one thing I personally would have enjoyed, is for it to have leaned a little more paranormal and I also would have enjoyed more offerings to a certain demoness.  *insert evil laugh*What can I say this one had my crazy peeking out a little.

I know in that moment, I would die for this woman. I’d carve up bodies, pluck out eyeballs, go to jail, hell, I’d do anything for her. I’m so fucking in love with Daisy Murray that my heart can’t seem to stop ballooning as I stare at her.

If you read The Mindf*ck Series and wished it was a RH, this book is for you! There’s an unhinged FMC coming back for revenge against the town that tried to sacrifice her and the men who embrace her bloody revenge campaign and turn out to be just as unhinged as her. I loved watching the world burn around them.

I loved Daisy and her men – best friends from childhood who were broken by her death and the subsequent erasing of her life. We are given glimpses of the way each dealt with the trauma, how it shaped their adulthood, and how Daisy’s return from the grave filled their cracks and made them whole. They did not balk at her crazy, instead vowing to be anything she needed—her demons to control, her dark knights.

Fast-burn and very spicy with extensive explicit depictions of darker kinks (dubcon, somno, primal, blood, knife, corpse play, etc.). There are MF and group scenes. Lots and lots of group scenes.

There are very dark elements and themes, so I recommend checking the TW/CW if you have any.  If you’re like me and have no triggers (or have learned to push through things that make you uncomfortable), jump in blind. It’s an amazing and surprising experience!

This is one of my top reads of the year, and I highly recommend it!
