Wow! What to even say? Buy it now!
Gwen and her family have moved yet again - only to be harassed and hunted.
Kezia is called to a horrible crime scene- infant twins drowned, the mother no where to be found. She calls Gwen for help.
Gwen looks into the mother - a trail of fake identities, dead elderly.
This case just gets more complicated, more questions.
This is the best book of the series - well other than the first two.
I did the audio version- loved it. This book is told by Sam, Gwen and Kezia. Each had a different narrator- it was brilliant.
Highly recommend.

I really like this series and I think this book was the best so far! I like how each book revolves around the same characters for the most part; it helps me to grow more connected to the characters. I do feel like the whole backstory of Melvin/Gina Royal is a bit played out at this point, I mean he died 3 books ago so it’s getting a little old. But overall these books are very attention holding and action packed, there’s always something going on and never a dull moment. This one has been my favorite so far based on the plot, and I’m looking forward to finishing out the series with the last book.

I find it impossible to rate this book because it does not stand alone. For a year or two I've looked forward to new additions to the series, and although I've been grumpy about some aspects, it is a series that will stick with me.
Rest easy, Rachel Caine.

Really good but a few parts were too cheesy. The main character Gwen, made some choices that didn’t fit her normal character from the first three books. But overall, really engaging and exciting, and dark. Gets pretty effed up at parts.. but still would recommend!
