Not great with cheating tropes, I only got a few pages in. Just not for me, I’ll read other books by the author

Preservation is about the youngest Walsh, Riley, and Alex Emmerling, a doctor who works with Nick Acevado (the hero in the previous book). It was great finally getting Riley's book because he was in all the other books in the series so we see him kinda grow up and come to his own in the previous books. It was a fun read. I initially gave it 3 stars when I finished it, but now that I think back, I quite enjoyed Riley and Alex's story--they definitely in the top 3 of all the Walsh series couples. I might bump my rating to 3.5 lol
But, now that I've read all the books that focused on one couple's romance (I haven't read Thresholds [a novella featuring the entire Walsh family] and Foundations [novella about Matt and Lauren] as of today, 6/18) here's my ranking:
1. Shannon and Will
2. Andi and Patrick
3. Alex and Riley
4. Lauren and Matt
5. Tiel and Sam
6. Erin and Nick

Oh Riley you loveable goofball. Alex said it best, “clumsy in the streets but a beast in the sheets”
2nd favorite of the Walsh books… such a satisfying HEA for these two

Oh my! I am in love with Riley. I mean.... he is that perfect baby boy. When i started listen to the beginning of this book, I resent him so much. I thought this book os goomg to be DNF.
But then it blew me away. How Riley and Alex bonds and start their friendship. The arrangement then the romance. They just so perfect for each other. So perfect. I almost cry listening to their love story. It is super cute.
I am glad I push it through with this book. I really am glad meeting and getting to know Riley. Minus the photos though. This book is full of humor and hope.
