I have to be honest and say this wasn’t what i expected it to be. It wasn’t bad by any means, it was just different. I really really really liked the more political poems, they ended up being my favorites but the ones I was looking forward to, the romantic ones, were exactly the ones different from my expectations

Amazing, honest writing on a number of important topics such as feminism, race, gender, and love. Only thing I didn't like is I found there were a couple times the same metaphors/imagery was repeated.
