I thought I had already put a review up for the third book in the series, but apparently not! I've been tearing through these the past few months so I think I lost track.

I wish I had written a review shortly after finishing, but it is safe to say that this book took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. Seriously-there are very few books where things happen that are utterly and completely surprising. This manages to do that and in a way that moves the story forward. Loved it!

Brilliant. And infuriating. If you love anyone in this book, they will probably die. If you hate anyone in this book, they will probably die.

I don't give a crap, what happened to good ol' Lord Tywin in this was the best.

Wait.

Funny, bloody and well paced, the third book in the saga stands as the best so far. It's light and fast enough to keep you reading and every character seems to have its amounts of page just right, although a little bit more of Davos and his king would have been nice. A LOT happens, so much, that I fear that nothing will in the next book. In the end, if you've liked the series there's no chance that you're not gonna like this book, I'll definitely recommend it.

I just love dramatic weddings.
Jokes aside, this was really the best book I’ve read out of the ASOIAF series so far. I can’t really point out why, but it was just perfect to me. Maybe because I knew that so much was going to happen? (yes, I watched the TV show first) There was just so much I anticipated like
Daenerys in Astaphor, the Red Wedding and Joffrey’s death, Oberyn vs The Mountain (that one hurts still and also tell me why I told myself it would end differently in the book lmao).
Also Jamie and Briene are just absolute enemies to lovers excellence (ofc they’re not lovers yet, and frankly might never be in the books, but still their chemistry is already so undeniable).
