Challenging read. The character arcs were heartbreaking and brilliant.

It took me far too long to read this. There were too long gaps between reading this because of university. This, which has nothing to do with the book, unfortunately, made it less enjoyable to read.

The book had rather a slow start, but once it got going, I was quite drawn into the story. I thought it was a unique story: a mother with Parkinson's trying to investigate the death of her daughter.

In the last third, it got really sad, and I had seen the ending coming, but it was still heartbreaking.

All in all, I enjoyed the book. It will not be one of my favorites, but I am glad I read it!

A difficult but realistic read. It however left me feeling very empty, and not in a good way.

Ultimately sometimes life is like that, but not sure I'd want to do that to myself with a book.

A book club pick and not one I would’ve read of my own accord - score reflects that! It’s certainly interesting but very bleak. I understand the artistic choice of the repetition but it does grate. If you’re into no plot just vibes depressing litfic then I’m sure you’ll enjoy it, but not for me
