Honestly my favorite parts were the absolutely SNARKY banter, the female main character’s growth (and her overall personality), and the dog! Oh, and Italy!
The conflict in this book…oof! Messy AF and if it was my life I would probably have done most of it differently. I get Kara’s thought process but I don’t. VERY mixed feelings about it, especially after reading reviews. (Read some spoilers if you are worried about triggers!)
Still, because the of stuff I liked, I’ll go ahead and give it 4⭐️. Honestly, I’m just a sucker for good sarcasm!

Over all Meh. Super easy to follow along and guess the plot. I finally got surprised 72% of the way in. I listened to the whole book at 1.25-1.50 speed which helped. I did enjoy the epilogue.

Ryan is an awful human being and deserves nothing. Man is really crazy… and just so immature. Favourite character was Duke hands down. Absolutely devoured this book in like 3+ hours!! And it really satisfying my romance novel craving so yay. But yes I hate Ryan.

I read this in one sitting, and I enjoy the author’s writing (I liked a previous book of hers), but I just wasn’t feeling the story on this one. I’m really not sure these two people should end up together. At the very least they should both have had therapy first.
