5 +++++ Stars!

THIS BOOK. Just--this book.

I was absolutely enthralled with this wonderful story and the amazing characters. I cannot put into words how this book touched me, but I'll try. **cue tears**

Okay, so we start off with one of my fave heroines ever, Nelle, who reminded me so much of baby scavenger Rey from TFA and if you want to pull at my heart strings then you know to emulate lonely baby Rey when it seriously hurt to see her so alone and ugh-- ANYWAYS back to Nelle.

She honestly is such a strong and wonderful character who seriously deserved the world given to her on a silver platter but instead, she had to fight for it and I loved seeing her grow as a character. She was so well written that I honestly felt her struggles as my own. She was just so soft and pure and wonderful.

NOW, Seerin....OMFG. This--erm--man? Male? Let's go with male--he was just such a sight to behold. Sure, he is a hunk of an alien but like....the emotional trials he goes through in this book really were astounding to read about. I loved his love for his little Thissie.

THIS IS A SLOWBURN!! If you know me, you know I absolutely live for slowburns and this one was achingly slow and beautiful to see it uncover, page after page. The pacing of their relationship matched the story and I couldn't put this book down.

This book had it all, epic romance, hot males, angst, wonderful relationships, ANGST, cute kids, MUTHA-EFFIN' ANGST!!! Did I mention, "angst"? You felt it from the first moment you read a word--this story hurt my chest to read but I revelled in it. I love me some good angst and this book had it in spades.

If you're in the market for a Drogo x Daenerys/ Dothraki inspired story WITH THE MOTHER LOAD OF
ANGST with such good payoff, then this book is SO for you!

Okay, but let me be honest, alien romances are the only time I'll let miscommunication slide.

This book was incredible! From the very first meeting the connection between the main couple was electric and so strong! I was hooked and couldn’t put the book down. This features a lot of angst and push/pull, so much so that I skimmed past the romantic steamy scenes because I knew that happiness for the couple wouldn’t last and I couldn’t endure reading it ! This was so close to a five star read however I think the hero was too cruel in some instances with how he dealt with the heroines feelings and the drama went on for a bit too long, there was just too many instances of pushing away ! Still it was a brilliant read and I’m excited to explore her other works
