"Why is my faith silent when I require it the most?"
A healer and a priest team up to investigate the cause of the ashen blood that's ravaging Yharnam.

This is, I think, my most favorite out of all the volumes for the comic series as it does have the most concrete plot out of all of them. It is a compelling plot that's set in the Bloodborne world. The characterizations for both Brother Clement and Alfredius were fleshed out enough despite the overall length of the issue. I did enjoy the complexity and duplicities that these characters presented. The ending for this was great.

This was a much better follow up to volume 1. I really enjoyed the story as it was split between the perspective of faith and science, as two unlikely people work together to understand the origins of the ashen blood. I also feel like we get more context to the world of bloodborne, especially around Yharnam right before the events of the game.
The art continues to impress me as they capture the details of Yharnam, I especially loved getting full pages of the church and red moon.
