Tripp and Dex's dynamic was the epitome of adorable. It was clear to everyone that Dex, in his charming oblivion, and Tripp, with his secret longing, were deeply in love. Everyone, that is, except for them. Their journey was a rollercoaster of mishaps and public relations disasters, yet they remained blissfully unaware of their mutual affection. The dance around their feelings was nothing short of magnificent. It was a blend of sweetness, humor, romance, and undeniable chemistry. The tension between them built up exquisitely, and when they finally embraced their desires, it was a moment of pure magic, sending hearts fluttering everywhere.

Such a sweet friends to lovers romance that reminds me why I love this trope. Tripp and Dex are so comfortable with each other, adorable banter and fantastic communication.
Always love reading pan characters too!

This book is a bit weak. The plot gets boring quickly. The characters are okay, at time infuriating. It's an okay mindless read

Not my favorite of the series. Didn't love how after every happy scene of romance came a self reflection of it all being fake.

Dex is like a cute puppy dog... unfortunately everyone treated him like he's and idiot and that was sad to read.

I adore Saxon James’ way of writing healthy relationships, so combining that and Eden Finley’s fantastic storytelling is just ✨Chef’s Kiss✨

And the pre-spice tension! Whooo. 🥵

This series is so good. I read the first one a while back and finally got the chance to read the second one.

Tripp and Dex’s relationship is perfection and Dex’s romantic little heart just sends me. Along with the fact that they’re both total golden retriever bfs.

Looking forward to the next!

Best friends get married in Vegas on a whim. One of them is gay, the other thinks he is straight, and they both play for the same hockey team. They have to fake the relationship to keep their reputation with the fans, or something.
I'll be honest, I thought the logic here was a bit contrived and I kept getting fed up with the goalposts changing and neither of them just saying what they actually thought. So much miscommunication and crossed wires. I did end up skimming the past 20% or so
