I wish this book was shorter. There was so much that felt like filler through out it! I'm a little disappointed, with it overall but enjoyed the ending. Ranami had some amazing character growth in this book. I always liked her but she became my favorite character in this one. I liked Jovis less in this one, but only because it was hard to relate to all this tragedy he committed during a time leap. Overall as a series I enjoyed this.

Now that I’ve finished the last book I can really say that I appreciated everything about this Eastern inspired fantasy world. Not usually a fan of stories that have to do with war but I always appreciate one that has complex characters who have to go through some soul searching and a redemption arc.
