Second read through- May 2018
I definitely didn't like this as much the second time around.

First read through- June/July 2017
This is the first new adult/erotica book I've read and I actually enjoyed it. I think it was a good "starter" for getting into the erotica genre.

I listened to this book on Audible and I think that's one of the reasons why I liked it so much. If I had tried to read it in a physical/ebook format, I don't think I would have been able to get through it. I think reading it would have been slow and a little painful but listening was great. I recommend the audiobook!

These are some of the things I liked about the book:
-I really loved the narrator and the different voices that she does for the characters. Her voice was really animated and it was the main reason that I decided to give it a listen. (That and it was the daily deal.)
-It's a standalone. Everything that was happening within the plot was wrapped up. (Except for a side character's plot but that's going to go more in depth in the next book in the series set in that world.)
-Luke could be really cute at times. Mega spoilers to be marked.
Spoiler Like when Sophie found the collection of goofy baby socks that Luke had accumulated for two months before they even knew she was pregnant. I have to admit that that made me so, so happy and I teared up a bit. (Not to mention that epilogue. That made me so happy.)
Also when Luke traded in his car for a bigger car to accommodate baby seats!! I wanted to yell because he wants to have her baby and she didn't even know that he did! It kills the man.

And here are some things I didn't really like about the book:
-I felt like Sophie acted like such a brat sometimes. She acted so childish and whined about things that I didn't think mattered all too much, compared to how she reacted to them, anyway. It was annoying to see the repetition of her brattiness taking over. I don't really see why it had to have been included.
-Sophie could act so dumb sometimes. Just some of the awful decision making drove me crazy. One little thing could send her right off the deep end. And don't even get me started on her jealousy.
-I didn't really care for how Luke spoke to Sophie at times. I mean, she seemed to like it? And I guess it's meant to be hot? Personally, I wouldn't be too thrilled to be called some of the things he called her, for example,
Spoiler hussy, slut
.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and I hope to get my hands on a (cheaper) copy of the audiobook sometime in the future! :)

This book just isn't for me. It just can't hit the mark for me and I'm bored getting through this. I feel I need a trophy for finishing this book! If it wasn't for a challenge I'd have DNF'd this book.

first 40 pages was hilarious. Ending was so rushed. could have been longer or stretched into another book. felt robbed at end.

This was cute and funny and steamy!! Yeah, lots of steam, but not overkill at all!! The storyline was fun and different, nothing I've read in a published book before. I wish it was longer, with just a bit more to their HEA.

Slightly funny but more annoying and eye roll causing than it was enjoyable. I have no desire to finish it.
