This was my favorite of the first three in the series. So funny and good adventures. I really enjoyed this animal mysteries!

Still enjoyable. Looking back on my childhood, I definitely shared Chester's imagination, if not his fearlessness.

3.5/5 rounded up. Again didn’t love it compared to the original but cuter than the second. Would still like another adventure with more Bunnicula involved! But listening to the first three has been wonderful!

My 8 year old niece enjoyed this book very much. That said, there was a lot of humor in it that was above her head. She got it when explained but didn't catch the jokes on her own. Compared to prior books in the series, this one was much less exciting.

I would recommend this as a read aloud but give the caveat that the humor may be more advanced than some listeners. It does create some opportunities for explanation and conversation.
