That was SO good! Karen Witemeyer just writes the BEST romances and the best heroes! She knows how to write really likable heroines too. Bascially, she just knows how to write a good book!

This book was action-packed and fast-paced from the very beginning which I loved. It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat and it was super hard to put down!
I absolutely LOVED the romance but I also really love that the plot focuses on more than just the romance. There’s plenty of action and suspense as well as faith, friendship, and sibling dynamics.

I LOVED the characters! Matthew Hanger was everything a good hero should be and I loved his character a lot! Josephine was a wonderful heroine and I really enjoyed reading about the life of a female doctor during the 1890s!
I also really loved the other guys and I seriously can’t wait to read their stories!☺️ The friendship between Matt, Luke, Mark, and Jonah was so cool to read. They had me cracking up several times.😂
I also enjoyed the sister/brother relationship in this book between Jo and Charlie.

I loved Matt and Josephine together! They were so sweet.🥰

The faith in this book was so good. I love how important faith was to these characters and how they grew throughout the story. I found the theme of surrender really/inspiring! I absolutely loved how Luke would quote a specific scripture before each of their missions.❤️

In conclusion, I loved this book! I’m not that surprised though— it is a Karen Witemeyer book.☺️ It left me with a huge smile on my face. I’m so excited to continue the series! Also, I listened to this on audiobook and the narrator did such a great job!
