Started out with a story, then led into the main body of the book, which are quotes from Mr. Rogers. Started out with general purposed quotes for the most part, then became heavily focused on children and parenting. Which makes sense given his field, but I would have liked a mix throughout.

This is more a collection of quotes or bullet points under a series of chapters such a childhood or learning and so on. Some of it is really helpful but a lot of it is repetitive. I don’t think that is the fault of the author but rather the packaging of the book.

Title: A beautiful Day In The Neighborhood

Author: Fred Rogers

Review: This was such an adorable read! I absolutely loved Watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood as a child! I think people everyone can learn so much from him! I really liked how the article that inspired the movie was included and such a joy to read! However, I do have a complaint I guess you could say it would have been so much more beneficial to the book overall is if Mr. Rogers included some of his own personal stories such as raising his own children and what that experience was like for him. After all this book is about the child development!
