consumed!!!
I read this book so fast. I felt so many emotions and anger for Connor and Rose was a huge one. It ended so perfectly more than I could imagine. Yes the drama of it all was a bit difficult but that’s the Calloway series and I live for it. I could have read a whole series about just the lake house. I can’t wait to read long way down. I’m sure it will rip my heart over and put it back together. These characters consume me and I love it.

Rose and Connor are such dynamic and interesting characters, I always love the opportunity to pure inside their heads.
Rose puts out such a polished front, but often times she will hold back her feelings until they explode, it was interesting to see how that played out now that she is a mother.
Connor , on the other hand, is always the reserved, and logical one. For the first time in this book, you see him rattled when faced with a situation he can’t fix. It made for some really interesting moments with him and the rest of the group that were fascinating to me as a psychology major.
Overall, I think what I really loved most about this book is seeing them as parents, and work together as a unit, and how unbreakable their bond truly is.
