Obviously written in a pre-Trump pre-covid time when one could swop lives across the ocean and not worry about travel, visas etc.
a bit vapid and predicatable.

Wow. This book is so heartwarming and joyful to read and it just feels like it was written for me ( I am a person who has her head always either stuck in a book or her kindle) so I already feel a kinship towards the character and plus it's set in my fave city... Paris. I do realise I have read the second book in a series so will remedy that

Would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't wanted to slap the main character at least 5 times. She was soooo clueless and had a bit too much navel-gazing going on.

This is a lighthearted book and an easy read. It’s not particularly sad in any way, and has a happy ending which I am very grateful for. I’ve been reading some heavy books lately so I’m always ready to experience something lighter.

Usually like the narrator but the accents were off putting.
,dialogue was meh.
