This re-read was particularly enjoyable as I know this story so well I liked seeing the hints of what was to come sprinkled throughout. I did fell like there were maybe a couple of points where the magic doesn't quite match with how it works in later books but the magic system is quite soft so...
What was particularly interesting to me on this read was that

I didn't fall in love with Tamlin that I usually do. I also didn't feel the fiery hatred that usually kicks in very quickly into ACOMAF but usually I do kinda fall in love with him and am feeling the romance between between and Tamlin.Graphic: Murder, Slavery, Kidnapping, Confinement, and Death of parent

The audiobook narrator does good with the material she is given but this is definitely not a tale for me. People say the next book is better and this is the worst book in the series but I am not giving this author a second chance.

By half way I was absolutely hooked and couldn’t put it down! I even went to buy the second one so I could start it straight after!
Sarah J Maas is a genius, her worldbuilding is incredible, characters are so loveable and absolutely gorgeous. The the way the plot comes together at the end is very clever and I didn’t at all predict it (which I usually can)
The bonds of the characters are so cute, Feyre with Tamlin, and Lucien for example.
Overall I loved this book and all the characters, on to the next one! Starting right now …📚🧚♂️😅

Beauty & the BeastHonestly, for a plot driven book, I felt that the plot was rather predictable, and my favorite part of the book was the supporting characters. I didn't find the main characters terribly interesting, and they don't really grow much over the course of the book. I enjoyed the variations in this retelling, but the story itself didn't seem terribly unique to me...but I DID enjoy it as a lighthearted read, despite the violence and dark themes.

Moderate: Abandonment, Domestic abuse, Kidnapping, Murder, and Vomit
Minor: Slavery, Sexual harassment, Racism, and Sexual assault
