I love how Walliams’ books are like a fresh take on Roald Dahl books. He has interesting storylines, relatable characters, and engaging layout and typography. I especially love that this book took on elderly grandparents and their health.

I really really really loved this book! Tackling dementia/alzheimers is tricky; but this book did it so nicely! Despite some fat jokes (again walliam, really?) This was a lovely tale about a grandson and grandfather relationship escaping the terrible twisted towers.
The ending, kinda broke my heart. The way walliam's told grandpa's death was soft and gentle, and the way there was the last moment of recognition - got me good.
