Blown away by the magnificence of this book. A masterpiece of writing and character development. The theme of grief and the way in which it impacts generations and generations if not handles properly (or even when it is).

I found this challenging and also made me sad at how trauma can keep us stuck and travel down generations— but also spoke to resiliency. A little bit of a history lesson too
